Deals with an appointment scheduled in the future don't count as a No Follow Up

Currently, a customer who has an appointment scheduled but no other tasks will show as having "No Follow Up" in the sales pipeline. This doesn't make much sense, as an appointment is kind of the gold standard, face-to-face version of follow up.

Adam Miller Thank you for the feature request! I am going to move this one to Gathering Votes to see what other users think about this request. Thank you again for the request and have a great day!

Agreed there should be a touchpoint confirming appoint / reminder

Can we also see about having the appointment created make an auto generated text message for confirmation? If this is already a thing, please show me how to use it! Thanks!

Thank you for posting, Adam Miller! I have a few more questions for you:
- How do you currently track follow-ups for customers with scheduled appointments?
- Would you like the system to automatically update the follow-up status when an appointment is scheduled?
- Are there any specific scenarios where a scheduled appointment should still be marked as 'No Follow Up'?

Shelby Parker 1. Well, I WAS thinking that I'd use the Enterprise Workplan, but that's out the window now. I honestly don't know how I'm going to do it, hence the enhancement request.
- Yes, the same way it updates follow-up status if they set a touchpoint or phone call or other kind of task. It should be treated the same way as those.
- No, a scheduled task is a scheduled task. I don't understand what makes appointments LESS follow-uppy than any other task, if anything they're MORE.
