This is not a token field like "customer name" or "trade-in VIN" nor is it just a text box field. This would be a field that in which text is pre-loaded at the Deal Doc settings level and say "N/A" for example, but when printed by a DriveCentric end-user could be overwritten with their own typing. If you have questions, please reach out for clarity!

Hello Conner Wheeler! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide a specific example of when you would need to overwrite the pre-loaded text in the Deal Doc form field?
- Are there any specific restrictions or rules you would like to apply to the text that can be entered in this field?
- Would you like this feature to be available for all Deal Doc form fields or only specific ones?

- There are a number of specific use cases. For example, let's look at a We-Owe/AVO/Due-Bill. We may have specific timelines to honor said documents, say 30 days, but in some cases need to be flexible on that number. If it was preloaded with "30" but could be overwritten, that's the goal. Anything that would typically default to a certain or no value could be specified accordingly while still allowing flexibility for change.
- I wouldn't think so. If a dealer needed to control what goes in the form field, they either a) should have only certain users with privileged access to modify deal docs and b) just leave it blank if they want
- Any text-based form field
