Customize Retention for Service BDC

Right now, all service BDCs are retained on 100% of the leads they are initially assigned to. We would like the ability to implement true round-robin assignments for deals and therefore would need the ability to customize this retention setting.

When a new service lead is created and a Touchpoint task is generated, the system should automatically retain the previously assigned Service BDC and the newly created Touchpoint task should be directed to them. This would improve workflow efficiency and productivity as well as generate consistent customer communications. Ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and retention - contributing to increased service department performance.

- What specific criteria should be used to determine the round-robin assignment of leads?
- Are there any exceptions or special cases where the current retention setting should remain unchanged?
- How frequently should the round-robin assignments be updated or reviewed?
