Specifically on un-engaged internet leads, we like to provide a quote if we have not made contact with the customer within a couple days. This moves the customer to proposal status. We still have not technically even engaged with this customer. When a customer is moved to proposal status in this scenario the workflow changes to no longer fit the actual circumstances, and it also artificially inflates the number of customers in the proposal bucket. We would like a way to generate a quote using the desking tool in a customers profile, without changing the pipeline status or scheduled workflow. This could be a alternate desking tab, a new option under the "present" pop up in addition to text/email/print, or even a way to move a customer back to "lead" status from "proposal" status.

We send many proposals to internet customres before they come in the store. Moving them to proposal leaves open the possibility of missing opportunities.
