Customer Tag Search - Real Time

Customer Tags need the ability to search, mine, and filter upon creation. All momentum on effort is killed when the mining update is required for utilization. There's no value in searching yesterday's weather when I am trying to not get rained on today.

Thanks for raising this, Tommy Dent — totally hear you on how much that “wait for the mining update” breaks momentum when you’re trying to act in the moment. To make sure we’re solving the right thing, can I ask a couple quick clarifiers: right after you create a tag, what are you typically trying to do next (build a list/segment, launch a campaign, assign follow-up work, etc.)? And where in DriveCentric do you most need newly-created tags to show up immediately (customer search, lists/segments, campaign targeting, reporting)? Lastly, what’s an acceptable lag time for your workflow — truly instant, within a few minutes, or just same-day?

Shelby Parker All of the above when it comes to "To-Do's". The real answer is dependent on the source of the list (Manifest List from Manufacturer, Form Sign Up List from Marketing Event/Promotion, and/or prospecting lists) or initiative behind the creation of the tag. Bottom line, what good is a tag if I have to wait to employ it?
As far as acceptable time frame, ideally - instant. Realistically, a few minutes would suffice. Again, the feature is only good when you can use it and if users are required to wait to employ core functionality of the feature (including the ability to collaborate across users who upload lists, create/add tags to accounts, create mining segments based on said tags, provide criteria for identifying said segments, then act - think BDC>Sales Management> Sales Team) then all momentum is lost.
