customer search

In my last CRM, we typed in a customer name and if I was off by a letter it would still pull up the closest related client profiles, it would even go as far as to list clients with completely different first names but same last name. Now, if I misspell the clients name, nothing pops up. Some clients have impossible first or last names, and if the search bar would just pop up most relevant names that would be extremely helpful.
If I have not sold a client, I do not contact them with my personal cell. That leaves my only contact opportunity to the CRM, so if I can't look them up by phone number, I have to look them up by name. And it is near impossible to remember the spelling of clients with weird names or clients I haven't sold. The search bar should pop up relevant profiles by name.

Thanks for sharing this, Natalie Hill — totally hear you on how much friction this creates, especially when CRM search is your main way to reach someone. This context is really helpful. I’m looping it in with the team so we can review improving search relevance (e.g., handling misspellings/partial matches and surfacing close name matches), and we’ll follow up if we need any additional details from you.
