Custom Customer Tags

Customer Tags allows users to label, group, and organize customers within DriveCentric for easier tracking and follow-up. Tags can be added manually to individual customers or applied in bulk from Mining, helping teams identify key customer segments—like “VIP,” “Lease Renewal,” or “Truck Buyer.”
From Store Settings, users can create, view, archive, unarchive, or delete tags, keeping their tagging system clean and organized. Tags display directly on the Customer Contact Card and can be used as filters in Mining and on the Pipeline to quickly find specific customer groups.

Ability to mine a tag
R
Robert McMahon
We have a few group tads that we use. One for example is our commercial tag. When BDC gets a commercial lead they tag the commercial sales group. I'd love to go back and pull all the commercial sales tags on our commercial customers.

Hi Robert, thanks for the feedback! You can use the Mining tool to mine for Customer Tags, which will allow you to pull up a list of customers with a certain tag, and even further refine that list with additional filters.

Sorry for the delay but we are happy to announce that Customer Tags is now a feature in DriveCentric!
With this feature you can:
-Add or remove tags right from the Customer Contact Card
-Apply tags in bulk to customers or lists from Mining
-Create, archive, unarchive, or delete tags in Store Settings
-Quickly filter and search by tags on the Pipeline or in Mining

Could we make tags visible in the header of the customer record, without having to click on the contact card and scroll all the way to the bottom?

I would love a hashtag feature on drive centric. the purpose for a hashtag is to be able to find a customer if any information is forgot.

Being able to Tag customer profiles with a #style tag.

A feature of being able to add a category tag to a client profile would be very helpful for BDC team or even sales. In other CRMs I've used, you can do this with a #tag group. This allows you to be able to to run a report to find all of these. This could allow us to see leads that need to be reviewed by BDC agents, managers etc. This can also help with email blasting and more. I've attached a screenshot of how this works on another CRM.

Hey Alexis Johnson, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific categories or tags would be most useful for your team to implement?
- How frequently do you anticipate using this tagging feature for customer profiles?
- Can you describe a specific scenario where tagging has significantly improved your workflow in other CRMs?

Hey Robert, thanks for the feedback! We're working on a feature that would allow you to apply custom tags to Customers, and then mine for customers who have a particular tag.
I think this solves your "Commercial" use case, since commercial customers are always making commercial deals. Are there other use cases here where you're tagging (mentioning) based on a deal-specific attribute?

List Trade as a Custom Vehicle of Interest?
C
Courtney Burgess
Could there be an option when adding a custom vehicle of interest to flag the customer as Trade focused? I imagine this working either as another option on the drop down (New, Used, Trade) or as a check-box for Trade on the custom vehicle.
The current use of trade-in as part of a deal is very helpful when constructing a deal but we also get a lot of trade-focused or trade-only leads and if we made it easier to separate them from truly "other" or unknown whether it's new or used leads, it would be very helpful for reporting!
