Clients are at work or hearing impaired or just simply can't listen to the audio in a sent video via mobile or desktop. Can you please add this asap in the next update? I have multiple staff that is doing it on their own. Thank you : )

Captions need to slow down

When making video's for clients, the captions just blow through the video far faster than the conversation is being had. This feature needs to be tweaked so that clients are not speed reading the information. It simply looks un-professional. If all of these other app's can make it happen there is no way this cannot be accomplished here on D.C

Thanks for calling this out, Bryan Bare — totally hear you on how unprofessional it can look when captions race ahead of the actual conversation. To help us narrow this down, can you share where you’re seeing the caption speed issue (which DriveCentric video tool/workflow), and whether it happens on every video or only certain ones? Also, in your ideal setup, should captions be synced strictly to the spoken audio timing, to each on-screen segment length, or something else? And lastly, who’s mainly noticing it (your team vs. your clients), and are they watching inside DriveCentric or via a shared/exported video?

Automatic AI captioning instantly elevates your videos and helps your store stand out from non-DriveCentric dealerships. Customers already expect captions from the social platforms they use daily, so adding them creates a seamless, familiar experience that keeps them engaged and builds trust.

I have a customer who is deaf, the only way she can watch movies and show is through captions. currently unable to add caption to video... is this possible to add?
also, it would be cool if the caption could translate to a different language. so, when you're speaking its automatically translate to their language for them to understand....

Please implement this.

Add “subtitles” to a video for hearing impaired, as well as an option to possibly translate video to Spanish or have Spanish captioning

Here is my responses to your questions Shelby:
1) These could be videos that have been recorded directly in the app or pre-recorded ones on their phone.
2) I believe the choice to enable or disable it as an overlay should be left to the user.
3) Initially, the languages provided could be English and Spanish, unless there is an option for users to activate additional languages for closed captioning.

Hey Heath Patterson, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the types of videos that require closed captioning? Are they pre-recorded or live videos?
- Do you have a preference for how the closed captioning should be activated? Should it be automatic or manually turned on by the user?
- Are there any specific languages that the closed captioning should support?

Great idea! Another benefit would be for when a guest views our video at work and they don't want the audio on for obvious reasons.
