Clear Duplicate Leads

There needs to be a way to "stop the clock" other than doing a manual action. A lot of times, customers put in duplicate leads (credit apps, trade info) and there is not need to call or text them at that time. There needs to be a way to clear that "lead".

- Criteria would be when an call,text, or email does not need to be sent. When we are already in contact with the customer. There should be away that a manager should be albe to clear that duplicate lead.
- Duplicate leads happen quite often. When a credit comes in that we have sent them, trade info. The impact is that I have a "new lead" alert and I can not get it to clear. I don't want my response time to be impacted on leads that are not actual new leads.
- The issue for me is response time and new lead alerts.
