Business Rule - Price Drop Emails

It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to create specific business rules based on certain notifications, such as Price Drop Alerts. For example, when a customer receives a Price Drop Alert email, the system could automatically trigger a call and text task for additional follow-up.
This would allow us to increase outreach opportunities and take a more proactive approach to customer engagement. By following up directly with a phone call or text, we would have a greater opportunity to connect with the customer, discuss the price reduction, address any questions, and ultimately increase the likelihood of securing an appointment.

Thanks for sharing this, Amber D — totally see how tying Price Drop Alerts into automated follow-up could drive more proactive outreach. To make sure we’re scoping it the right way, a couple quick clarifiers: should the rule fire as soon as the Price Drop Alert email is sent, or only after the customer opens/clicks it? And who should the call/text task route to (the current owner/salesperson vs a specific team/queue vs round-robin)? Lastly, would you want this to run for every Price Drop Alert, or only for certain segments (lead source/stage/vehicle type, etc.)?

Shelby Parker. , great questions!
My recommendation would be to have the follow-up task trigger for customers who have opened or clicked on the Price Drop Alert email, as this would allow us to focus our outreach on customers who have shown interest.
Ideally, Genius AI would also send an automated text message when the customer receives the Price Drop Alert email, providing a secondary method of contact and an additional opportunity for engagement.
The follow-up task should be assigned to the BD Agent currently listed on the lead, ensuring the outreach is routed to the appropriate person.
I would recommend applying this process to every Price Drop Alert. Based on my experience, there are typically only a handful of these notifications each day, making the additional outreach manageable and realistic for a BDC Agent to complete consistently.
I believe this would be a great opportunity to increase customer engagement, create more meaningful conversations around price reductions, and ultimately improve appointment opportunities.
