Automatically prompt users to set a task when they've completed a task in there's no task set for the future

It would be useful for our users to be prompted to set a new task when they complete one, in order to make sure that customers don't fall off of a workplan.

also - a report for groups to see how many leads are sitting with no future task by store and by funnel bucket (much like the dash board, but without having to flip between each individual store)

Please, the ability to set recurring tasks.

Automatically rescheduling at the time I set the original task for. A little menu with the 6 working days as check boxes if you wanna get crazy. A little checkbox that says "Make it recurring?" would make customer follow-up a lot easier. Very helpful for my customers in service and also sales :)

please....please....whatever feature this is, make sure email campaigns are NOT counting as tasks, because as of now they are...if the campaign has a scheduled email it counts as a set task, and that is making it so users have no clue they themselves need a task....

Hiya Kurt Nystuen, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you envision needing to set recurring tasks (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly)?
- Are there specific types of tasks or follow-ups that you would prioritize for this feature?
- Would you need any notifications or reminders for these recurring tasks, and if so, how would you like to receive them?

Shelby Parker Hi :)
- Almost every day I have a customer where a recurring reminder would help me keep in touch with them (after the default 7 days of auto-set tasks).
- Prioritized tasks include but aren't limited to:
-Customer has a vehicle I've sold them in service
-Customer needs continued follow-up for a refund
-Customer has ordered a part/service/accessory and wants me to follow up with tracking info
-Customer is a "waiter" meaning they are in no rush and looking for a specific car.
-Deal is out of state and will likely need constant follow-up
- No reminders necessary, I would prefer if they pop up in the workplan. If you wanted to add a notification feature it would be nice to see it pop up under the bell :)
Not only would this aid in customer follow-up, it will also contribute to Walser's goal of generating return business. Good follow-up=happy people who are likely to buy again.
Thanks Shelby!

Adam Miller Thank you for the feature request! I am going to move this one to Gathering Votes to see what other users think about this request. Thank you again and have a great day!

Thank you for posting, Adam Miller! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should trigger the prompt for setting a new task?
- Should the prompt suggest specific types of tasks or leave it open-ended for the user to decide?
- Is there a preferred method for notifying users about the prompt (e.g., email, in-app notification)?

Shelby Parker 1. Anytime a touchpoint or task of any kind is completed on any deal in an open status.
- Open ended is fine.
- In our previous CRM, a window popped up inside the deal for about 15 seconds before disappearing. I'm not sure how close you can get to that functionality, but an in-app notification would be useful provided that it went away automatically when the user sets a task (I don't wanna clog up their notifications with stuff they've already taken care of, I just want to make sure that no customers roll off of the workplan if the user completes a deal and then runs away from their desk for some reason).

Shelby Parker --- The prompt could be as simple as "Do you want to set a follow-up task?" with a Yes and a No button.
