I would like to have the ability to attach documents or photos to notes. A picture is worth a million words.

It would be very convenient for managers and all if it were made possible to add a documents or photo attachments button to the note section. It would be nice to be able to put conversations over there via copy and past from my personal phone without having to retype the entire conversation, or worrying about things, like including things like photos the customer has sent me via my personal phone. This way managers and staff are on the same page in case the customer has reached out to your cell rather than through DriveCentric and can check that conversation or document out.

Ability to add a picture in notes. Would be helpful for our leads that come in through social media ads so we could upload a picture of the ad for our reps to refer to.

Has anyone else wanted to be able to add photos to notes or is that just me?

Shawn I have used the Portal feature but I find it to be very limited. Uploads expiring after 30 days is a poor decision. In addition, it is not as helpful as having photos/documents in the activity feed with notes etc.

Adam Check: Thank you for the additional information on this! That's correct, attachments do expire after 30 days however your dealership can opt for these attachments to remain longer! This is a security measure that we added to ensure that any Customer PII wouldn't live in the Portal forever. Similar to how we remove attachments sent by the Customer on the Customer Card!

Shawn Goebel Also the portal you have to click on - where in notes other people on the team will be able to see things clearly in the activity conversations - there are so many instances where this will clarify what is going on with our customers.

Alban Musaerenge Thank you for the feature request! We did release a feature called Portal that I believe accomplishes what you're looking for here. You can add Photos and Attachments to a Customer securely to the Portal from the Customer Card. Have you had a change to use that feature yet? Thank you!

Shawn Goebel the Customer Portal notifies the customer and then they have access to it correct? That would not accomplish what a lot of us are asking for :)
Shawn Goebel
Nick Fowler: No sir! When you add something to the Portal, that is not customer facing. When a customer adds something, you have visibility. I hope that helps!

Having the ability to upload photos, docs, etc. into the Notes section would be extremely useful.
