Assign Tasks Through Engaged Email Blasts

I’d love to see the ability to assign tasks directly from the Email Blast feature—similar to how tasks can be distributed when mining. This would be especially valuable for following up with clients who open or click on a campaign, allowing us to engage more intentionally and efficiently.

Thank you for posting, Collin Cash! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific tasks would you like to assign through the Email Blast feature?
- How do you envision tracking the completion of these tasks once they are assigned?
- Are there specific criteria or triggers that should automatically assign tasks when an email is opened or clicked?

Hello Shelby Parker, thanks so much for the follow-up! Here are some additional details on how we’d like to see this feature work:
- Specific Tasks to Assign Through the Email Blast Feature:
Outbound Engagement Touchpoints: Assign follow-up tasks when a client (already in our CRM) opens or clicks an email.
Personalized Follow-Up: Use RoundRobin to assign a task to a rep for outreach—call, text, or email—based on the client’s level of engagement.
Next-Step Actions: If a client clicks a key link (e.g., vehicle listing, trade-in form), assign a task prompting the rep to further the conversation.
Actively Engaged Clients: Once a conversation is underway and the client is actively shopping, the task should include a note for the rep to manually apply the appropriate campaign source—this is critical for accurate tracking of email blast performance.
- Tracking Task Completion:
Tasks should appear in the rep’s daily workplan and allow them to:
Mark the task complete or reschedule as needed
Log the outcome (e.g., appointment set, not interested, still shopping)
Tie the engagement back to the original email campaign for performance reporting and accountability
- Triggers for Automatic Task Assignment:
Email Opened → Assign a follow-up task within 72 hours
Link Clicked → Assign a follow-up task within 24 hours
Conversation Confirmed / Actively Shopping → Include a task note prompting the rep to manually apply the designated campaign source
No Interaction → No additional follow-up tasks needed from the sales consultant
This feature would greatly enhance our ability to follow up strategically, track campaign effectiveness, and drive consistent engagement across our team.
Thanks again for considering this!
Best,
Collin
