Appointments 2.0 + Marking an Appointment Cancelled

I don't like deleting appointments if they cancel because I like having the history of an appointment being set. It would be convenient though if we can mark them cancelled so when going through working on confirmations we can easily see who already cancelled without having to open the customer profile.

there should be an option to makr an appointment as canceled so it is easier to track how many canceled versus how many no showed. we do not delete appts becuase that inflates all other numbers

I want the ability to cancel an appointment that was you can see how many cancel and how many no show. If you delete an appointment it hurts your set percentage but inflates your show percentage which gives you inaccurate values.

My pay and my BDC managers pay is based on making appointments. When we have to cancel an appointment for a customer, sometimes the day of the appointment as emergencies happen, we try not to delete but other managers go in and delete them anyways because they don't want the auto confirmations going out to the customers.
This affects how our department is paid because our set appointments disappeared and it affects goals and bonuses.
Having the cancellation option keeps the set appointments and they still go towards our goals. for example, if my goal is to make 80 apts a month, but 25 cancel, and those 25 get deleted, I have not made my goal. All the work I have done to set the appointment dissapears and it reflects poorly on me when it comes time to do evaluations for pay raises/bonuses etc...

Logically, we should have the ability to click on a scheduled appointment and go to either the deal or activity page from the mobile app and desktop

My management team would use the missed appointment bucket in mining daily. First sort by date and call through yesterday's missed to see if they could reschedule. From a 30k ft view, I (and my general sales manager) would be able to see that the appointments have been touched at a glance by having the "last attempt" column selected when the information pulls.
If the managers have a lull, they could then change the date and mine through month-to-date missed appointments and see what they can reschedule.
When managers are doing their one on ones with salespeople they can pull the missed appointments by salesperson to help identify where the salesperson's opportunity is to raise their show percentage. Take a look at confirmation %, video % etc ...
