Appointment Board Change

Recently, the link to the appointment board changed from a webpage to a link that can only be accessed if you are logged into Drive Centric. In the past, I had used the link to post the appointment board to my Showrooms (5) Digital Displays. Now my display is of no use since there is no way to have it log into Drive Centric so it will display the appointments along with my other items and menus.

Shelby, it's the fact that you now have to remain logged in to DC in order to see the board. With the legacy version, you could open the link, exit DC and still see the appt board thus prohibiting access to store data from the user profile. The new boards, although pleasing to the eye, do not function in a matter that a store administrator would or should allow.

They use a public link to a web page. The program I use is Yodek, if you want to see how it works. I basically allow space on the page/board for a webpage to load into. I can't do it now, but on Monday, I can send a screenshot of the layout.

Thanks for flagging this, Gary Imler — totally hear you on how disruptive that is, especially if you’re using the appointment board on multiple showroom displays. Really appreciate the context here; I’m sharing this with the team so we can review what changed and what options we have. Quick question to help us understand the setup: are those digital displays able to stay signed into a browser at all, or do they need to access the board via a public/no-login link?
