As a user, I would like the default text opt-in that is required to include either the interested vehicle information or the trade-in vehicle to have a better chance of engaging the customer.
When an interested vehicle exists on an Open Deal, verbiage should be added to the default opt-in to reflect the interested vehicle.
- Hello {Customer First Name}, this is {User First and Last Name} with {Dealership Name}. Thank you for your interest in a {Vehicle Year} {Vehicle Make} (Vehicle Model}! May I communicate with you via text? Reply YES to confirm, or reply STOP at anytime to end. HELP for help. Msg freq varies. Msg & data rates may apply
When a trade-in vehicle exists on an Open Deal AND no interested vehicle exists, verbiage should be added to the default opt-in to reflect the trade vehicle.
- Hello {Customer First Name}, this is {User First and Last Name} with {Dealership Name}. Thank you for your interest in receiving an offer on your {Vehicle Year} {Vehicle Make} (Vehicle Model}! May I communicate with you via text? Reply YES to confirm, or reply STOP at anytime to end. HELP for help. Msg freq varies. Msg & data rates may apply

Everything about this texting system is wrong and broken. Having to "get votes" to fix a vital part of opening two way communication with potential customers makes this entire CRM a problem! FIX THIS WITHOUT US NEEDING TO TELL YOU!! I don't know, perhaps hire people who have bought and sold cars to work with your CRM designers? New to this CRM and seeing all, ALL the flaws is actually making me kind of crazy.

YES!! We would lthe option to edit the content in the opt in message.
We agree there are leads which the opt in message does not fit the customers journey.
Also, High end / exotic customers we find are more responsive when we message stating something that implies "as you requested" letting them know this is not random but instead an outreach that they initiated.
Example: As you recently requested we are reaching out to provide our most recent promotions /inventory selection, would you like for me to send this to you? Please reply Y to continue texting.
We would like to have options available to edit this opt in at minimum by CRM.

Agree - If Genius is able to edit the beginning of the text message, users should have the same ability. As some have mentioned below, being able to add the users title, i believe would help with engagement.

Yes please allow us to edit. Particularly remove our last names when asking customers to opt-in. Thank you.

It would be helpful to modify the opt-in text, some of my customers have already met me, and if I've gotten a nickname, it will default to the first name in the profile, which some people REALLY don't like, especially after telling me their preferred name. If we had the ability to click in and edit the opt in that would really be valuable

The sender's title needs to be included in the opt-in message. An opt-in text message from a General Sales Manager or a General Manager should have a better response than a Salesperson.
Also when a customer replies to an opt-in message with anything other than "Stop" that reply should be considered a "Yes" to texting.
