AIM sending Birthday message and pushing the customer to come in despite having purchased 3 weeks ago.

AIM sent a customer we sold a car to 3 weeks ago asking her to come in and buy a new car. It was a birthday message and it used that opportunity to pester a sold customer ABOUT the car we sold her. Terrible.

Hello Bryce! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific changes would you like to see in the birthday message feature to prevent similar issues?
- How frequently do you think follow-up messages should be sent after a purchase?
- Are there any other types of messages or interactions that you find problematic?

Shelby Parker 1. The birthday wish is fine. If the customer bought within the last 9 months though, telling them to come buy a new car from us seems disparaging. This message reads like they need to come buy a new one since their car is so old...despite buying 3 weeks ago. The "marketing" half of a birthday wish for a more recent sale could maybe be service focused and say something like "our full service shop is here for all your needs and happy to schedule you for your first oil change" or something along those lines?
- By A.i.? None as "follow ups" will be handled/are tasked to sales reps and customers should have a human touch to those.
- Yes, many. As a former Quality Assurance Tester for 5 years, there are many "bugs" that need to be worked out, and it is increasingly frustrating as they should have been worked out before this product was pushed out for sale. I am trying to screenshot them and log them here in these forums for you as I come across them. (Submitted a few over the weekend already)
