AI Voice Coach / Analyzer
S
Sebastian Pacheco
A real-time voice-enabled AI tool that listens to a sales rep's phone calls and provides instant or post-call feedback on their speech. It analyzes pronunciation, word flow, tone, and delivery. The AI identifies filler words, awkward phrasing, or missed closing opportunities, then offers clear, actionable tips to improve persuasion, confidence, and overall communication skills. Think of it like a personal speech coach always in your ear, helping you become sharper, smoother, and more effective with every call.

Hiya Sebastian Pacheco, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific metrics or feedback would be most valuable for the sales reps to receive from the AI Voice Coach?
- How frequently would the sales reps prefer to receive feedback (e.g., instant, post-call, daily summary)?
- Are there any specific languages or accents that the AI tool should be optimized for?

1.
Speech Clarity Score – Detects mumbling, slurring, or mispronunciations.
Filler Word Count – Tracks “um,” “uh,” “like,” and other non-productive language.
Confidence/Tone Analysis – Measures voice strength, energy, and assertiveness.
Pacing & Pausing – Flags if the rep is speaking too fast, too slow, or not giving the customer time to respond.
Talk-to-Listen Ratio – Measures how much the rep talks vs. how much they let the customer speak.
Missed Opportunity Alerts – Notes if the rep forgot to ask about trade-ins, next steps, appointment setting, etc.
Suggested Rephrasing – Offers better ways to say things (e.g., “That came off unsure, try saying it like this instead...”).
Objection Handling Score – Rates how well reps respond to common objections.
Overall Engagement Score – Combines tone, energy, and responsiveness to assess how engaging the rep sounds.
- The sales rep can enable the Voice Coach whenever they want.
When clicking to call, the same pop-up that displays the customer's number and the sales rep's number should include a checkbox to activate the Voice Coach for that call.
- It would be best to optimize the tool in English first. Once it’s working properly, additional languages can be added.
This would allow both new and experienced sales reps to drastically improve. Most people have no idea how they actually sound on the phone—bad habits are hard to catch without feedback. If taken seriously, this tool could be a game-changer. It would also set Drive Centric apart from every other CRM on the market.
