Adding a vehicle on a new phone lead

When upping a new phone lead and putting the VOI in the lead it is coming in as a blank vehicle. We are having to put the VOI into the lead after it has been upped and finalized. Why is it generating a blank vehicle if we are entering the correct stock number?

Sorry you’re running into that, Becki Gibbs — I can see how having to re-enter the VOI after the fact would slow things down. Just to make sure we’re chasing the right behavior: when you type the stock number/VOI during new phone lead creation, are you expecting the matching vehicle to populate on the lead right away? Also, is it generating a blank vehicle every single time, or only with certain stock numbers/vehicles? And when do the correct vehicle details finally show up — only once the lead is finalized, or only after you go back in and re-enter the VOI on the saved lead?

Shelby Parker If you add the VOI during a phone lead creation it is populating a blank VOI and setting that as the primary VOI. If you look after the lead has been created/saved the blank one remains unless you delete it. If you add it after creation it populates how it should. I cannot speak to if it is every vehicle, but from what I have seen it is every time you try to add a VOI during the creation of a phone lead.
