install a search box on the work plan to be able to search for specific words in the task description. This is very helpful trying to find one activity or a group of activities in a larger list. This will also help prioritize as I can search for key words such as "appt" or "Anniversary" or any key word I might have used like a tag in the activity description. For instance, I have 71 tasks in my work plan today I would like to take a few minutes and just know out all my anniversary task. If I could just search on that key word, it would show me only those. A common reminder I use is call the set appt. It would be great to search on Appt and see anyone I set that specific task for as I would want to do them first thing in the morning.

Randy May Thank you for the feature request! I am going to move this one to Gathering Votes to see what other user think about this request. Thank you again and have a great day!

Hiya Randy May, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you envision the search functionality? For example, should it include filters or advanced search options?
- Would you find it useful if the search results could be sorted or categorized in a certain way?
- Are there any other keywords or tags, apart from 'appt' and 'anniversary', that you frequently use and would like the search function to prioritize?

Shelby Parker- awesome yes. I appreciate your response. They way I have used this feature in the past has been a simple search box that I can type anything into and it would filer any activity that contained that word in the description. I often have over 100 activities and filtering down the ones I am looking for first has and would be very helpful, especially in trying to prioritize my most important task first in my day. Your filters are very useful and it you could put your filter tool on the work plan page and point it at only the open activities and allow people to filter different fields in the activity with the normal, contains, does not contain, less than more than, etc... they might be better as it is a tool you have already have and opening it up to filter more fields than just the task description and in more ways would allow it to be the most good for the most people. But my original request would be a simple search/filter box that would search on the contents of the task description of open tasks on the work plan page only. I do not see that additional categorizing capacity would help as the goal is to quickly drill down with only a word or two to a very focused list of tasks to direct my attention to. I hope that help. I can include a screen shot of an example from another tool if that is helpful. Please let me know if there are any other questions.
