Add functionality to type the Time and Date when creating a Task or Appointment

The recent change to the time-entry field is a bottleneck. Typing 1400 to get 2:00 P.M. instantly was pure flow. It allowed users to set tasks with zero friction, moving through their workflow without breaking stride.
We have a new problem. A red box and a clumsy scroll-down menu. This isn't just inconvenient; it’s an obstacle. It forces the user to stop, click, and navigate a cumbersome list. The result is a loss of momentum and wasted time.
This isn't a matter of preference. It's about efficiency. The most productive users rely on quick, keyboard-driven inputs to get more done. Reverting this change and restoring the previous functionality is a logical step to remove this friction and optimize the user's experience.

Change back the task date feature.

The new format starting today is not as efficient. I used to be able to key in the date (example: 8/5/25) and it adjusts to 08/05/2025 when I tab to the time. I used to be able to key in the time (example: 2pm) and it adjusts to 2:00 PM. I'm also noticing that occasionally I'll get an error message that the customer opted out of whatever contact method I selected. They didn't opt out.
Please change it back to the way it was as of yesterday. It was way faster until today. Now it's slower and buggy.

Smart time-setting in task creation - "1pm" -> "01:00 PM"

Setting a time when creating a task needs optimized. Typing "1pm" should trigger "1:00 PM" for example. Please make it smarter so it takes fewer clicks and less typing. Thank you!

Great to hear your perspective, Aurelien Gabriele! I have a few more questions for you:
- What other time formats do you commonly use that should be recognized and converted automatically?
- Are there specific scenarios or workflows where this feature would be most beneficial?
- Would you like the system to recognize and convert other date-related inputs, such as 'tomorrow' or 'next Monday'?

I strongly agree with this point. The prior time-entry method was not just a convenience, it was a productivity enabler. Being able to quickly type “1400” and instantly receive “2:00 P.M.” streamlined the process and allowed users to maintain uninterrupted focus. The new dropdown-based approach introduces friction where none existed before. For professionals managing multiple tasks, even small interruptions compound into significant inefficiencies. This change doesn’t simply alter the user experience — it actively slows it down. Restoring the keyboard-driven input option would be a clear improvement. It would respect the workflow of power users, minimize wasted time, and ensure the platform supports, rather than disrupts, efficient task management.
