Add an "only if" decision for Business Rules

One thing the competition has that I personally really like is the ability to us an "only if" in the business rules filters. Particularly, as it applies to prior contact. It would be nice to say, fire this touchpoint only if no customer inbound email, inbound text or phone conversation has occurred in the past XXX timeframe. As it stands, you have 2 choices, have the touchpoint never fire if there has ever been 2-way communication or fire regardless of if there has been conversation.

Regardless, if it is a task or a kill, having the ability for it to fire or not fire based on how long it has been since the user was in contact makes sense. As a for instance, if you have a touchpoint or call task for today and the customer called, emailed or texted you yesterday the task/touchpoint is probably not necessary. If you could set up the task/touchpoint with a filter or rule that says, "fire only if no conversation, inbound text or email was received in the past ____ hrs/days. The timeframe would be dealer specific. This would allow us to set a business rule that could keep a lead active for a long time and still have auto-kill feature active using the only if decision. You could set up a 90 day business rule and add multiple auto-kills throughout. Maybe 1 at 30 days which fires only if there has been no conversation in the past week. Add another at 45 days which only fires if there has been no conversation in the past 2 weeks and so on. Tasks would also be set using this function.

Jeff Knudson Thank you for the feature request! Are you able to expand on what you're looking for on this? We have filters to ignore a rule if there's been engagement form the customer. It sounds like you would like to ignore a rule if there's been engagement over a certain number of days? Thank you!

Yes! This would be a great add on. It would be nice to use this for instances where people do or don't have a vehicle of interest, trade, etc. so we can make templates that are conditional.

Hello Jeff Knudson! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more examples of scenarios where you would use the 'only if' decision in business rules?
- What specific timeframes are you considering for the 'past XXX timeframe'?
- How would you like the system to handle multiple 'only if' conditions?
