Ability to schedule clients to pay for their cars with a business manager

Have a separate calendar that would work like a restaurant reservation system to provide better service to our clients.

The idea is for sales consultants to schedule their clients to finalize paperwork for their purchase. We would need a system that allows us to set reservations times. The sales consultant would be able to set an appointment at any open tie slot. This would give Business Managers a heads-up allowing them to manage their day better. It would create a better experience for clients and prioritize people that plan properly.

Thanks for sharing this, Jeff Davis — I can see how a reservation-style calendar could make the handoff a lot smoother for customers. To make sure we’re understanding the workflow correctly, could you clarify who would be using the calendar (sales, F&I/business managers, reception, etc.) and who they’d be booking time with (customers only, or also internal staff)? Also, when you say “pay for their cars with a business manager,” what does that appointment typically cover in your process (financing paperwork, payment collection, contract signing, etc.)? And lastly, what’s the main pain point you’re hoping a separate calendar solves compared to how you schedule today (double-bookings, long waits, uneven workload, missed handoffs)?
