Ability to print letters and postcards

Print, although dying slowly, is a great way to get past spam filters and add a personal touch to the customer journey.
We would like a way to automate letters and postcards to be printed everyday for purchases, lease ends, birthday messages with templates we already have from an older CRM.

Thanks for sharing this, Allison Watters — totally hear you on print being a great way to cut through and add a more personal touch. To make sure we’re scoping this the right way, could you clarify a couple things: which events you’d want to trigger a letter/postcard (purchase, lease end, birthdays, etc.) and whether you’re looking to start with all of them or just a subset? For each trigger, who should receive it (sold customers, active leads, service customers), and are there any basic rules we should account for (like honoring opt-outs/exclusions)? And when you say “printed every day,” do you envision a daily batch/queue that someone reviews before sending, or should it flow straight to print automatically without a review step?

Shelby Parker, Ideally, it would be for any event we want at any time. So, although this may sound unhelpful: Yes! to all. We would want events to trigger as well as the ability to create a group to print to out of the blue who would just have a few things in common. Who receives it depends on the letters context, customers get birthday messages. active leads could receive discounts and deal based on what they were interested in last.
Of course we will honor those who opt out of mailing.
and a print queue is the perfect way to handle it. An employee comes in every day and hits print. This step to review is perfect for a smaller company like ours but if a larger company would also like to do mailings then I believe having the option to review would be best.
