Ability to Exclude DMS Deals & Customize Push

Our stores will post dealer transfer deals in CDK as retail for their own reasons, we should be able to exclude these instead of them automatically added to Drive and skewing my delivered numbers.
We also have no choice for deals that are in status "booked" to be excluded from being pushed. Booked deals are nowhere near delivered and should not be updating Drive, I can't even see the status from CDK in the customer card so I have no idea if the deal is actually delivered without having to manually compare every single deal. We should not have to change our entire accounting process to ensure it fits Drive's idea of how it should work. We should be able to fully customize the connection between Drive and our DMS so it can work for us.

Hey Charlene Smith - can you provide a couple of customer examples from your store (customer name and deal number) that are "transfer deals" so I can dig into this?

Drew Adler I've already sent these to support, they are deals that are not yet marked with a deal type in CDK or are marked as Retail and will be pulled in regardless, I am not able to have my accounting team completely change their setups to Retail - 2 as suggested so they aren't pulled into Drive. If you still want some examples I can find some again for you.

Charlene Smith - understood, that is what I was going to investigate and suggest as well based on my findings.

Drew Adler we have this same problem with product only deals. We want them to count as gross but because they have a deal # and are retail deals, they count as deliveries in DriveCentric.

Thank you for posting, Charlene Smith! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on how you would like to customize the connection between Drive and your DMS?
- What specific criteria would you like to use to exclude DMS deals from being automatically added to Drive?
- Could you elaborate on the current issues you face with the status 'booked' deals and how you envision the ideal solution?
