Ability to Assign Closer to New Leads

Currently, the sole choices for distributing leads are assigning them to the BDC or a Salesperson. We also need the capability to assign a closer to leads.

I completely agree! I would also love the option to set up a distribution model for multiple territory managers. This setup could support two teams, each with two closers, and a dedicated team of salespeople under each closer.

Shawn Goebel yes please! AIM is engaging internet leads and tagging salespeople (the only person currently associated with the deal) I want to be tagged in the AIM notes so I want to be automatically added as the closer on all new internet leads.

I think that when a manager clicks "Check Out", this should assign the manager who clicks it as the Closer automatically. This would be the easiest solution.

This could be set up via round-robin, accessing deal, or by checking out the customer.
It would really assist in creating business rules for manager/closer follow up, as of right now either every manager has to get a task or you have to work around it using sales teams, which doesn't work well, as other managers/closers may not be familiar with the deal.

Emily Knope: Based on my conversations, no. A closer is only assigned if a pencil is created, or manually. I was suggesting ways assignment could happen within the system to make it more suitable for the dealers.
