we like to make 3 contacts the first 3 days to the customer. Note: when leads come in on SAT after closing and we are closed on Sunday - you will lose 2 days of follow up due to a forced expiration of task for new leads only, after hours. We had a new lead on a Thursday and task kept expiring - and due to the way this system is set up we only got 4 calls out of 13 scheduled task for a NEW lead... so the customer only gets 4 calls in 7 days. Everything else expired. I have never seen a CRM do this and in 20 years i have worked with 6 of them. DC is set up to expire all NEW lead task when they come in over night and after hours. so you could end up with new leads and no phone calls attached. Depending on your dealership set up, you could loose leads due to improper follow up.
